Tata Motors launched the newest sedan in its lineup, the Tata Aeris, on September 25 with an introductory ex-showroom price of ₹5.29 lakh for the baseline petrol manual variant. The iCNG variant comes at ₹6.29 lakh (ex-showroom). On-road prices will vary depending on the city, RTO charges, road taxes and insurance costs. Tata Aeris Specifications: Engine, Mileage, Power Output

The Tata Aeris offers two distinct powertrain choices: a 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine producing 86 PS of max power and 113 Nm of torque, and a 1.2-litre twin-cylinder iCNG delivering 73.5 PS and 95 Nm. Both engines come paired with a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT option. 

While Tata has not revealed fuel efficiency for the Aeris, Autocar India quotes an expected mileage of 20.5 kmpl for the petrol MT variant. The real-world mileage figures can only be claimed once users have used and tested the car.
