  One of the best highway cruisers I've driven

  Did a Pune-Goa run in the Kodiaq RS and it's genuinely one of the best highway cruisers I've driven. 400Nm of torque makes overtaking effortless at any speed, and the AWD plus DCC suspension keep it planted through the ghats. Cabin stayed comfortable and quiet over the 8-hour drive, and the 786-litre boot with seats folded swallowed luggage for a family trip easily. 9 airbags and Level 2 ADAS gave real confidence on unfamiliar highway stretches. Fuel stops were more frequent given the performance focus, but the experience made up for it entirely.

  Genuinely one of the most capable road-trip SUVs in India

  Took the Kodiaq RS on an Ahmedabad-Udaipur trip and it handled the distance with genuine ease. The 2.0 TSI's 261bhp made overtaking on the highway completely stress-free, and the 7-speed DCT shifts smoothly at cruising speed. Adaptive cruise control made the long stretches genuinely relaxed. Cabin comfort held up well over the full day's drive, and the panoramic sunroof made the trip feel special. 231kmph top speed capability gives real confidence for fast highway overtaking when needed. Genuinely one of the most capable road-trip SUVs available in India right now.

  A genuine 7-seater that doesn't compromise on performance

  We bought the Kodiaq RS as a genuine 7-seater that doesn't compromise on performance, and it's worked out brilliantly for our extended family around Chennai. 9 airbags including rear-side coverage gave us real confidence carrying grandparents and kids together. The 281-786 litre boot handles luggage for the whole family on trips. Panoramic sunroof and 12.9-inch touchscreen make long drives genuinely pleasant for everyone. AWD gives real confidence on wet monsoon roads. Yes it's expensive, but as a genuinely practical, safe, powerful family SUV, it's been worth every rupee.

  Best family SUV money can buy, if you can find one

  The Kodiaq RS has genuinely impressed as our primary family car around Kochi. 7 seats across 3 rows mean we can comfortably take the whole extended family on trips, and the 261bhp engine never feels stressed even fully loaded. Level 2 ADAS gives real peace of mind on Kochi's busy roads. Build quality feels genuinely premium, properly European in fit and finish. The panoramic sunroof is a hit with the kids. Only real downside is limited availability, we waited months to get ours given only 50 units came to India. Genuinely one of the best family SUVs money can buy here.
