Great family SUV, suspension a bit stiff for our roads
The Tayron has been mostly good for our family around Delhi, though the suspension is stiffer than I expected for Indian roads. Broken patches and speed breakers transmit more into the cabin than I'd like for a car this premium. 9 airbags and the overall safety package are genuinely excellent though, and boot space handles our family's needs well. Cabin comfort on smooth roads is excellent. It's a solid family SUV, just wish the ride was better sorted for our road conditions.

A genuinely superb highway cruiser
Did an Ahmedabad-Udaipur run in the Tayron and it's a genuinely superb highway cruiser. 320Nm of torque makes overtaking completely effortless, and the DSG holds gears smartly on inclines. The 61-litre tank meant fewer fuel stops than I'd budgeted for. Cabin stayed comfortable and quiet over the full day's drive. 9 airbags gave real confidence on unfamiliar highway stretches. Genuinely one of the most relaxed, capable road-trip SUVs I've driven in this price bracket.

One of the more relaxing long-distance SUVs at this price
Took the Tayron on a Jaipur-Udaipur trip and it delivered a genuinely premium highway experience. Steering feels precise and planted at speed, never nervous even on the winding sections. 201bhp made overtaking on the highway completely stress-free, and the 4Motion AWD gave real confidence on a rain-affected stretch. Seat comfort held up impressively over the long drive. 345-litre boot handled our luggage easily. Genuinely one of the more relaxing long-distance SUVs available at this price.

Delivered exactly what our family needed
The Tayron has worked out brilliantly as our family SUV around Hyderabad. 9 airbags gave us real confidence carrying the kids, and the cabin feels genuinely spacious and comfortable for the whole family. 345-litre boot handles our weekly grocery runs and weekend luggage easily. Ride comfort on smoother roads is excellent, properly plush. Build quality and materials feel a genuine step above rivals at this price. A bit pricey, but as a safe, comfortable family SUV, it's delivered exactly what we needed.
