Capable, just wish cruise control came standard
Took the Virtus on a Jaipur-Udaipur trip and while highway performance was solid, a few things kept it from being perfect for long-distance duty. No cruise control on my Highline trim made the flat stretches more tiring than necessary. Highway mileage was decent at around 18kmpl, close to what's claimed. Cabin comfort held up well over the 5-hour drive, and the boot easily took all our luggage. Build quality feels solid throughout. A capable long-distance sedan, just wish the mid-tier trims included cruise control as standard.

A well-rounded, safe family sedan
The Virtus Highline Plus has worked out really well for our family around Delhi. Rear seat space is genuinely generous, and the boot at 521 litres fits everything we need for weekend trips without a second thought. 6 airbags standard and the 5-star NCAP rating were the deciding factors over other sedans and hatchbacks we considered. Build quality feels properly premium, cabin materials don't feel budget at all. The automatic gearbox makes city driving with kids in the back genuinely relaxed. A well-rounded, safe family sedan that's exceeded our expectations.

Highway performance has been genuinely impressive
Do regular Ahmedabad-Vadodara runs in the Virtus and highway performance has been genuinely impressive. Mileage on the highway settles around 19-20kmpl, a big improvement over city driving and close to the claimed figure. The 1.0 TSI has enough punch for confident overtaking, and cabin stays composed and quiet at 100-110kmph. Build quality feels properly engineered for sustained highway use, no rattles even after several long trips. 6 airbags and the 5-star NCAP rating add real confidence on the highway. For long-distance driving, this sedan has been genuinely excellent.

Punchy, precise, and genuinely engaging to drive
Went for the Virtus specifically for the driving experience and it's exceeded expectations around Pune's ghat roads. The 1.0 TSI is punchy for its size, and the manual gearbox has a satisfying, precise shift action. Steering feel is genuinely communicative, rare at this price point. Build quality feels a cut above rivals, nothing rattles or feels cheap. The 521-litre boot is a pleasant surprise for how much luggage it swallows. Safety credentials with 6 airbags and 5-star NCAP are reassuring when pushing it through corners. A genuinely engaging sedan that doesn't sacrifice everyday usability.
